HikCentral and DSS environments
Plan hosting for the supported server roles and software versions. Vendor requirements, operating systems and licence arrangements are confirmed for each deployment.
Connectivity and controlled access
Define how sites, operators and administrators connect. Include the required bandwidth, access permissions and approved remote-access method in the design.
Storage and retention planning
Separate application data, recordings and backups. Define what will be stored, where it resides and the retention and capacity requirements for each category.
Backup and recovery scope
Agree which components are protected, the backup schedule, recovery process and validation responsibilities. Recording storage is not automatically a backup service.
Ongoing platform care
Scope infrastructure checks, maintenance windows, change control and support responsibilities. Availability and response commitments are established in the service agreement.
